I suppose many Big Town Playboys fans were upset and sad about the leaving of frontman Mike Sanchez in December 1999. Anyway, you have been wise enough to come here to check out how and what he's doing now. Mike is doing a lot solo stuff now, including a kind of big band thing, as well he became a full-time member of Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings.

This website offers various information and material, also it includes some stuff I took from my Big Town Playboys pages. +++ January 2002: Mike returned to Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings but also continues doing his own shows. Actual tour dates are available at www.mikesanchez.co.uk. +++ November 2001: After I saw Mike's new video I only can highly recommend it! A well created and presented mix of clips, documenting Mike's musical history and steps. It includes some really rare stuff and is truly entertaining. It is not only the perfect christmas gift for Sanchez fans, but also it will please everyone who likes some proper Rock'n'Roll. Currently they are touring around various countries. +++ January 2001: Mike finishes a great new album with his new UK band. Release is scheduled for February. Get prepared for some hot stuff!
