Dear Feelgood People.
I want to tell you all, through Gabi's pages, of my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to each of you for accepting me as Lee's successor in Dr. Feelgood.
My 4 years with the band has been an unbelievable experience for this late starter in the music business. You gave me such encouragement and support as I fumbled my way into Lee's old shoes, and with time I feel I was able to help carry on the Feelgood spirit at the front of the stage as Lee would have liked it.
Believe me, it was my pleasure.
Now time has moved us all on, and I find myself wanting and needing to develop my own modest musical leanings and step down.
What I learned about Dr. Feelgood is that it has a spirit of its own as a band, and although each musician has his own individuality, it is the spirit itself that can live on for years to come.
But for the moment, let me as an individual wish all of you a great future in the knowledge that Dr. Feelgood moves on forward into a brand new era. Kev, Phil, Steve, Chris, Ann at the office, and the lovely Gabi, thanks for 4 brilliant years. And to you fans and friends, God bless you, and thank-you from the bottom of my heart for the experience of a lifetime.
