Comments: I am a fan from Norway, and I met Dr.Feelgood band on
a concert in Oslo. I like the way they perform the tunes on stage with
100% feeling. Everybody is doing a great job. I have tried getting cd her
in Norway but it`s not so easy because the big record companies fill the
shops with Techno and other garbage. I play in a band Lefseklingers http://home.sol.no/~kvsvein.
It`s Rock`n Roll with Norwegian language (Norsk). There must have been
a lot of work on this realy good homepage. Keep on Rocking the Blues. Best
wishes from Knut Vebjorn Sveinunggard

Comments: I've been feeling all nostalgic after seeing an AC/DC tribute
band down at my local pub (Dirty DC - EXCELLENT!), and I was transported
back to the mid/late 1970's, when I first saw Feelgood at the Greyhound
in Croydon after seeing them on 'the old grey whistle test'. I remember
as we queued up to get in, some of the other 'punters' taking the p*ss
out of us, saying 'hey, they're even letting teenyboppers in now !' (we
were only 14 at the time, my mate's dad drove us to the gig). It was probably
one of the first 'proper' gigs that I had been to, and I was hooked on
Feelgood. Being a budding guitarist at the time, I faithfully learnt as
many of the Feelgood songs as I could, but could never quite master the
unique 'no-plectrum' chopping style of Wilko. He is a one-off, that's for
sure ! I have to admit that I kinda lost interest in the Eighties, but
I did manage to see them 3 or 4 years ago at a pub in Beckenham, Kent.
I think the gig guide is a boon, I am more likely to go and see them now
that it's easier for me to find out where and when they are playing. Hopefully
get to see Wilko again as well, last time I saw him was at the 'Tramshed'
in Woolwich - great stuff. Anyway, I'm rambling, so I'll sign off, but
here's to many more years of Dr Feelgoods raw R'n'B !

Comments: I was stationed in England during the late 70's and became a
fan of Dr. Feelgood over the radio. Got to attend one of his concerts in
London when "Squeeze" opened for him. Just a few days ago I was
surfing the web to try to locate some more of his albums when I discovered
that Lee had died. It was quite a shock. I still play all the albums I
bought while stationed over there and would like to update my collection.
I see that Tower Records will be releasing several albums during the first
couple of months of 1999. I really enjoy your web site. I'll bookmark it
and visit often. Terry Conley Palmyra, New York

Comments: Dr Feelgood is one of the best bands I have yet to hear. First
heard it in high school some 20 years ago and still love it. Very hard
to find music in Canada, had to import from UK. Would really and truly
like to see a North American tour. With proper promo it would be a big
success. I would also like to get my hands on the music, notes, chords,
tab ext... Basically anything thats out there.

pleanty Feelgood covers, including Roxette, She does It Right, Take a Tip,
and stuff like that. Check us out if we're in your patch - details on website.

Comments: First bought the "Down By The Jetty" album just for
the poster, which I can not find now (sickening). Then started to listen
to it, ever since "Dr Feelgood" has been the music that I compare
others to. No ones come anywhere near close yet and never will. Saw them
live 3 times with "Lee" fronting them. Twice with "Pete
Gage", spoke to him after the gig in Cambridge and told him he has
filled the shoes well. I sit here typing this with a signed photo of the
Feelgoods looking down at me(Lee Brilleaux, Steve Walwyn, Phil Mitchell
and Kevin Morris. Keep up the good work, I am sure "Lee" is watching
and listening.
