Comments: I am a big Dr. Feelgood lover. I got all the Dr Feelgood album
with Lee Brilleaux. The first time I been on a concert with Dr. Feelgood
was in Varberg (Sweden) about 1981 (Kim Larsen performed at same concert).
And I had the good luck to see the band 3 more times. Second in Alingsås
and 3th in Trollhättan. And in Trollhättan I had the autographs
and a very, very nice talk with Mr. Brilleaux and the band. And my brother,
Gunno Hasselberg, was so glad to meet his favourite band at last! The 4th
concert with Dr. Feelgood was in Kalix (Sweden) and this time I was the
promotor! It was a great, great concert! I'm so glad I could make it before
Lee Brilleaux passed away. It was a very sad day. But I had writings with
him a few weeks before his dead and he wrote fantastic nice to me and we
"talked" about Johnnie Johnson (he told me he liked Johnnie very
much - and I too) and on the last record Dr. Feelgood have their own version
of a Johnnie Johnson song. I'm so glad for this letter from Mr. Brilleaux
and know I will send the very best wishes to the wife and children of him.
All the best to You and I hope we will allways remember this wonderful
performer and man. I wrote it to him in my last letter and I write it now:
"He was the real doctor"! Best wishes from Johan Hasselberg in,
Kalix, Sweden. Welcome to my homepage: http://come.to/Chuck_Berry_News/
Now I have a link to "Dr. Feelgood".

technology - huh. Site is BRILLIANT and absolutely justified for the Feelgoods
- who would believe a band whose first album was in mono and had a black
and white cover would ever be caught up on all of this? Cheers and may
Lee Brilleaux's memory live forever... ALAN REID

Comments: Just got back in from work with the sound of "Roxette",
"Going back home" and various other tracks still ringing in my
ear from the drive down the motorway. I am looking to fill the (many) gaps
in my collection so came across this site in the process. I've absolutely
all the information I needed plus lots more - excellent web site Gabi,
a very warm thank you indeed from me for all the obvious hard work you
have put into it - certainly shines through. Great to know that the sound
and spirit of the Feelgoods lives on . . . . . and on Thanks again, best
regards Paul
