Comments: Caught the feelgood bug in germany while in u.s. (mid 70's) army. These days i'm a middle aged fart with a penchant for the blues (that's never wavered) and thought i'd check for a site one day and bingo! sadly i saw the press on lee years back, but he left a great legacy. i ain't a promoter but check out little charlie and the nightcats "disturbing the peace" they're a sacramento band thats been around, and hound dog taylor's "beware of the dog" and oh yes, thanks for the (doctored) memories... brian

Comments: Around a year ago I was talked into (by Lou, above) spending a precious Saturday night at the Half moon at Putney watching Wilko, as soon as Wilko took to the stage and started bashing out "Everybody`s carrying a gun" I was hooked. I`ve been to every Wilko gig possible since and can`t for wait for Wilko`s RnB boogie party tonight at the Half moon.

I have been a fan of the band for many years and went to see them just before christmas, at folkestone, for the first time since lee died, all be it with some trepidation, so as soon as i got my computer i thought i would let you know what i thought of the new line up - A VERY BIG WOW!!! Comments: Looking for Lyrics for Maidstone band Shaven Haven. My mate Johnny plays guitar - he does have an association with Dr Feelgood. My own band, Killer Rabbits have supported Wilko at the Powerhaus, Islington - in about 1991.

Comments: Congratulations Gabi, this is probably the best site of its type in the world, and nothing more than The Feelgoods deserve!! I was interested to read about Johnny Guitar, as The Count Bishops were probably as close to Dr. Feelgood as any band got during the '70's, soundwise. Their singer Dave Tice co-wrote "Waiting for Saturday night" and these days is still turning out some of the best R & B in the world today. His band The Bar Kings have a new CD on Full Moon Records... "Sippin' & a Slidin'". Blues Revue Magazine in the States recently described it as... "a hot disc of greazy, sleazy, paint-peeling, wall shakin', rowdy, juke joint, vintage style R & B !!!" Dave Tice also has another band, The Headhunters, with various members of Rose Tattoo. Their CD "Outlaw Boogie" will be out in about two months. If you love Dr. Feelgood and Omar & The Howlers, The Bar Kings and The Headhunters will rock your socks off.
