CAPITOL, HANNOVER / GERMANY - April 21, 1999

It was the evening when I met and saw Eric & The New Animals (AKA "i Band") the first time. Unfortunately I had no camera but a friend took photos of Eric, Dean and me backstage after the show. The one of Eric and me looks horrible so I only add the one of Dean and me because of the special event which it marks. (Hope to get a good one of Eric and me some day which I can share with you!)

MUSIC HALL, WORPSWEDE / GERMANY - July 18, 1999

The day before this concert Eric & The New Animals played at the "Movement Of The Hippies" open air festival, Burg Herzberg. They were expected to play at midnight but the generator broke and it took a long time to get acquired a working one. In the end it was 3:30 o'clock in the morning when the band finally could hit the stage! Straight after the show they took off in direction to Bremen to fetch some sleep before the next gig.
The day was hot, the sun was burning, also in the evening at the show the sweat was running on and off stage! A brilliant concert, everyone in an excellent mood and the venue was packed. Many Thanks to "H.D." (Hans-Dieter Ludwig, head of the Music Hall) whom I called just two days before the gigs and who let me in for free at both shows although the tickets were completely sold out since many days!

MUSIC HALL, WORPSWEDE / GERMANY - July 19, 1999

The second night at the same venue was as great as the night before, although the band said it was better. Anyway, this night was especially special for me because after the show Eric helped me writing out a verse of one of his old songs ("It Hurts Me Too") and for getting it together he started singing it. It was really nice and a pleasure to get a "private show"! Eric is a great person and the boys of his band are very kind guys too.
