Sent him a letter stating the above and asked about the book, which I didn't know was out of print. I didn't realize he was still so busy. Comments: Private! Dear Gabi, Hi! I just wanted you to know how much I love your site! You see, I have a very personal reason for especially enjoying your photo pages.... Dean and I were high school sweethearts! I found him two years ago searching his name on the net and I called the only Dean Restum that came up and he was "My Dean"! heehee.... anyway we have kept in touch since then and in September for my birthday I went to Ft. Worth to see him and the guys play.... what an incredible night!!! He is still as handsome and sweet as he was when we were 17! Thanks for posting the awesome photos of my sweetie... and not too forget Eric, Dave and Ansley too!! I would love to have some of those photos that you have and would be happy pay for the reprinting and shipping if it would be possible..... Comments: hi, my name is robert and i live in lasvegas nevada. on december 4th 1999 i went to see eric burdon at the sunset station casino in lasvegas.i took with me my 12 year old son bobby and my 6 year old daughter kelsie.my wife was very unhappy but we went anyway. the concert was general admission,so it was first in line gets in first. we arrived two hours early and got in line. i brought with me a poster of eric that i had made from a photo from the 1983 animals reunion, it was two feet tall by three feet wide.the doors opened and we were the first ones in, right to the front row. since it was three weeks before christmas my daughter kelsie brought with her a present for eric.as soon as eric came on stage my daughter kelsie handed eric his christmas present, it also contained a christmas card with our address on it.eric took the present and set it down by the drummer. on the second song eric came to the front of the stage and sang right to my daughter kelsie and handed her the tamborine he was playing for her to keep. eric then signed the poster that i had made. then on december 24th, the day before christmas i went to the mailbox and there was a letter for my daughter kelsie, she went to her room and opened it and then started screaming,it was from eric burdon. we will never forget the christmas of 1999, thanks eric.

Comments: Hi! Sorry, guys, my English isn't perfect, but anyway I'd like to tell you that I was hooked up by EB somewhere in the mid 70's when I was 15 or so. I'm from Russia and of course I even didn't dream to meet him personnaly. 3 years ago I mooved to US. After the first Eric's consert I told to myself:"Yeah, this guy is not simply the best, he is even stronger then ever before." Try to understand how shocked I was, when after the last Eric's performance in Amagansett he told me: "Hay, I remember you, russian". Thanks, Eric. And thank you, Gabi for the great site.

Comments: Please lets see an artist of the calibure of an international star back touring the U.K. I first saw Eric with The Animals at the Sheffield City Hall in 1964 and have been a fan ever since. What a super voice and stage presence this guy has, he should be filling stadiums around the world, a lot less talented people do it. Hope to see Eric back in the U.K. again very soon. Regards Andy

Comments: I'm the drummer from The Electric Prunes (1966-67). Saw Eric & the New Animals last weekend with my daughter. Eric is as good or better than he's ever been! Dean was phenominal on guitar! After the concert, I took my daughter backstage to meet Eric. I asked him if he remembered The Electric Prunes and the song, "I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night." He started to sing the song! I said, "You got it, that's the song!" He asked me what I'm doing now and I told him, "Trying to find a band!" He laughed. I got his autograph (twice) for my two daughters and he kissed the hand of my youngest that was with me at the show. He was really nice to her. Eric is an inspiration to all of us "old" rockers and blues musicians, to keep puttin' it out there! Thanks Eric. Preston Ritter
