1994: Playboys Ian and Mark joined Jeff Beck for a "Wild
Weekend" & other recordings
In, or around 1982, Plant performed at a benefit concert for the family of a guitarist in Worcester who had died recently, at the Stourport Civic Hall in front of around 200 people. Plant's initial appearance for the evening was with a band called The Big Town Playboys, with Jason Bonham on drums. This set was mainly comprised of old standards such as Billy "The Kid", and Emerson's "Red Hot".

1994:
Playboys Ian and Mark join Jeff Beck for
"Wild Weekend" and other soundtrack recordings
Hollywood kept Jeff busy all spring. Leif Mases did the production honors on the latter with new Big Town Playboys' Mark Morgan on drums and veteran Playboy Ian Jennings on bass. A surf classic "Wild Weekend" was also done by the trio but wasn't released. Some of it may be on the movie which surely will be to see on home video. "Cowboy Way", the Woody Harrelson cowboy in New York spoof, saw the mega live in the studio together meeting of Paul Rodgers and Jeff Beck for the Lieber/Stoller classic "On Broadway". Joined by veteran drummer Henry Spinnetti and bassist Ian Jennings, Jeff Beck creates yet another whammy bar first right after Rodgers sings about the women on Broadway...Listen to about the last 30 seconds or so of the first track on the Seal Lp "...." and you'll hear a mixed down Jeff Beck in the background...
